This is the most basic form of Alliance-security, if your alarm is activated it will phone several home or mobile phone numbers and alert them to the activation of your alarm system. The Telephone line is not monitored so if the phone line is cut or damaged then no signals can be sent.
If you have gone to the trouble and expense of installing a "state of the art" intruder alarm system, why should you have to rely on neighbours or passers-by to notify the Police?

Thanks for the information. I would just add, that anyone considering home alarm monitoring needs to do their research and find a company that verifies activations through either audio or video technology. Also, ask for and check references and ask local police who they recommend.
